Based on the vision of the Syrian Society for Social Development (SSSD), and in cooperation with the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), 50 beneficiaries from various local community segments were trained at the Fayd Community Center, Deir Ezzor, in establishing and running small businesses with the aim of empowering individuals and boosting their role in the labor market.

After the training, 25 beneficiaries will be selected for Small Business Startup Grants. At the conclusion of the training, a group of women said: “We have gained confidence in ourselves to be able to prove our role in Community.”
