In order to alleviate the suffering and reduce the risks of protection for the IDPs and returning families and those affected by the host community, the Syrian Society for Social Development (SSSD), Tartous Office, in cooperation with UNHCR distributed a number of general in-kind materials within the centers (Beit Al Yasmin - Ward Jury – Elton Al-Jurd) and its affiliated areas.

 which are: Hand washing machine two basins - water tank - carpet - water heater - fans) where the number of beneficiaries reached 75 beneficiaries for August.

On Sunday, March 27, representatives from the Livelihoods Section in the Country Office

and the Livelihoods Unit in Tartous Office of the UNHCR visited Beit Al-Yasmin Center in

Banias, and met with the management of the center and a number of employees. Where

they also visited a number of beneficiaries of small projects and agricultural kits in Banias

city and its countryside, aimed of measuring the impact and extent of success of small and

agricultural projects implemented in the region, which have contributed to improving

the level of income and securing the necessary supplies for the affected families and the return

of children to schools and their basic needs.
